Choose one tracking method. CDN tracking captures everything the JavaScript tag does plus per-page bot crawl data. If you set up CDN tracking, you do not need the JavaScript tag.

CDN Tracking Recommended
Review detected crawler requests and referral traffic at the network layer. Activation requires a planned DNS change and verification.
JavaScript Tag
Tracks supported referral parameters from browser visits. It does not capture crawler requests and does not require a DNS change.
What you get with CDN tracking
Records requests matching supported crawler signatures at the network layer, plus supported referral and conversion events. Browser tags cannot observe crawler requests that do not execute the tag.

How it works: You point your domain's DNS to Faneros. Traffic flows through the CDN, which records supported crawler signatures before forwarding requests to your web host. Review the DNS and application behavior during activation.
